Jus wanted to anounce the birth of my beautiful daughter!
on july 12th went to hospital an had my water broke around 11:45 am.started walking the halls and using the birthing ball to get contractions started.around 1:30 started having mild contractions.around 4:00 got more intense,spent time in shower an the tub as much as i could.was having really bad back labor,feeling it all(no pain meds).she was posterier...well around 9:00pm started not coping well with contractions,didnt think i could do it anymore...started to cry apologizing to everyone
telling them i coulnt do it anymore.they had me up on my hands an knees leaning on the birthing ball and laying on my side hoping she would turn...i was fully dilated.i still had a small cervical lip,they said it was starting to swell cause i was tensing up and fighting the contractions.i was stuck
: .well i asked for some pain meds they gave me a iv dose of something with a small dose of pitocin to get over that small lip,well i couldnt deal with the pain,so asked for an epidural.well Eliana
: must have heard that cause within the next two contractions i felt her come down and my body started pushing.dang it i WANTED that epidural!!
well started to push,but her forehead was presenting,so was not coming out.i was pushing SO hard!well the nurse was pushing for an episiotomy.i heard that and pushed even harder,my dr was awesome,she stretched and massaged my "parts" ended up sticking her fingers in my rectum to tilt babys head up just enough,and i finally pushed her out!YAY!!!what relief.She was so beautiful!:i pushed so hard the blood vessals in my eyes burst,yes so attractive i know.so anyways...she was 8lbs 2 oz,21 in.13 in head.has dark hair,long fingers and feet and is just so sweet.i could not ask for more!this birth was so much different than my others.but ended up so good.just teaches you you never know what to expect!wishing all you guys out there good easy labors!
