Do you put a chux pad under a woman's bottom for every pelvic exam? Do you have a chux pad rule of thumb for laboring women before or after the water breaks?

I sometimes put a towel or pad under a woman - sometimes lube can leak out, etc. I don't have a "rule" for leaking fluids - or women sitting. They can do what they feel comfortable with.

towel or chux- fluids and lube can drip-- safer for the bedding to have it covered some women use folded sheet...
