How old was your DD when breast buds developed? - Page 2

Puberty can take several years to fully happen. I started wearing a training bra at about 8 and I'm not even sure when I developed pubic hair. Probably around 10. Didn't start menstrating until I was 13, almost 14. It's good to see a doctor about it, but the stages can be very close together in the beginning and then start spreading out.

just more timeline feedback, DD developed breast buds (well it was more just the one side) when she was 8. It was a little surprising, but we noticed that it didn't really grow for a long time and for more than a year it was just the one side slightly swollen.

about age 10-11 more growth started occurring and she then at least had two developing even though they were (and are) still different sizes.

now that she's just turning 12 and I've noticed that she has been developing much more and is moving more to the rounded breast and away from the pointy ones. the inconsistency in size is still obvious to me, but I may be paying more attention because I've always been a bit self conscious about the fact that my breasts are obviously different sizes (which is perfectly normal but another physical feature to nitpick about).

I thought that 8 was very young but was happy that nothing really happened for a couple years after their first appearance. now that shes 12, i'm now waiting for menses to start.

my eleven-year-old wears bras...perfectly fills out a 36A. she's also had some hip development, but no pubic hairs, as of yet. she does, however, stink.

my nine-year-old has no development whatsoever.

My girls were about 9 or 10 when they started getting breast buds. Neither one has pubic hair yet. Well, actually I'm not sure about the 12.5yo.

oh how I sympathize, it has been so difficult getting dd to 1. use deodorant and 2. shower more often. I recall how self-conscious my mother always made me feel when I didn't wear deodorant, but now I totally understand why she fussed so much - I stunk and so does dd.
