Anyone else not have *ANY* signs of labor?

Or is it just me?! :

I seriously have not anything going on.

No gelatinous mucous
No plug
No crampies (anymore, although I did a week or so ago)
RARELY even any BH contractions anymore!

The only way I truly know I'm pregnant is that I've been getting up to pee umpteen times a night!!

Oh-- and, I have started SWEATING a whole lot more, but I think that may be more likely related to "July in Alabama" rather than 9 1/2 months pregnant!

I know I'm not due until *the last day* of the month, but still... I feel like *something* should be going on, yk?

Anybody else in my shoes?

I am *pretty much* in your position though sometimes I get (very mild) menstrual like crampiness at night. My due date is next Thursday, fwiw. I'm trying to stay mellow about it all.

6 days overdue with my only sign being a few MILD braxton hicks contractions. My first was 2 and a half weeks late so I shouldn't be surprised. But being patient is getting a little bit harder each day.

Yup, that's me too. I'm soooo ready to have this baby and there are no signs. Sigh.

Lurking from September. I didn't have many signs before my due date with my first pregnancy. I did take EPO vaginally from 37 weeks on, which I think helped me not go too far past my due date. Also lots of walking and sex can get things moving.

I'm not due till end of the month/ beginning of Aug but I was really thinking I'd go sooner than that. Wishfull thinking I suppose. I was getting really strong bhx a few weeks ago and now it's just period like crampiness mostly at night before I sleep. I also have this continual feeling of warmth in my lower abdomen. What's that about?
We have a baby pool going with everyone at both mine and dh's works, it starts filling up this saturday. We'll see....

Dreamer - That's totally me! I have nothing really to show any impending signs of labor. I'm also sweating, especially at night! I was due 4 days ago. *sigh*
I was just told my baby has dropped into a +1 station, so he's engaged, but the midwives said that could last weeks.

Got nuthin'. Unless being grumpy and annoyed about still being pregnant counts.

I'm trying to get a grip here.

Well it could be worse... could be like me, have all sorts of signs of impending labor but then when you have a VE you are told that the progress is very, very minimal and they'll be seeing you next week. :

Me too! I was due on the 13th and here I am still, with no obvious signs of anything:

Add me to the past-due and no signs camp. #1 was born five days before my EDD, so this waiting around for the pot to boil is hard!!! Even though I'm only 2 days past my EDD, it would be nice to have some sign of something.

Keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend, or that the big storms coming through tonight will include some atmospheric pressure changes to get things moving!!!

Maybe a grumpy face IS a sign of impending labor? My doctor just predicted (without the benefit of VE, mind you) that I will go into labor without much advance warning this weekend.

Why oh why do they say these things??

I suppose that since Sunday is my due date, the statistics are in her favor. <grin>

Oh, and speaking of stats, I do console myself every morning that THIS day I have a statistically higher chance of having my baby than I did the day previous.

It's all such a mindgame.

Dreamer, I had no real signs of labor until the morning I gave birth. I had some cx off and on for about 2 wks, but no pattern or anything. I woke up last Wed to cx 6min apart and we had Brady 3 hrs later.

Don't worry, I didn't have a single sign of labor until exactly 41 weeks, when I woke up to leaking fluid. 3 1/2 hours later she was here! I was shocked, because I didn't have a clue it was coming and honestly felt like it could be another 2 weeks. Thank goodness I was wrong!

Try to think of it as your body giving you a break before you have the baby. You could have no signs of anything but still give birth tomorrow. But really, who wants to have mucus, cramps and contractions that don't mean much when you can avoid it until the baby comes out?

I didn't have any signs of labor either until my first contractions which came 7 minutes apart. I then had stalled labor for the rest of the day and then went straight to transition and had him 30 minutes later! Don't worry about signs - you may not get any at all

I didn't have any signs with my other 2. Felt "normal", then bam! I actually had lots of signs last week & I'm still pregnant. So much for the "signs".

Thanks to the ladies who are reminding us no signs don't mean the baby isn't on its way soon. I should know that since that's how my last birth was. . . its still hard to be patient though, and I wonder if I'm headed to a repeat of going past 42 weeks. I so hope not! But it does help to hear your stories!

It also helps that I walked around Walmart this evening and at least got a few BH ctx from it.

Yep nothing here either and I'm at 39 wks 1 day (in 39 mins it will be 2 days but who's counting? lol). I've actually never had a braxton hicks. I didn't have any with Jake either. If I'm having them I don't know that I am. I had to go #2 a bunch the other day but I think it was just my new vitamin.

Today I went to the chiro and I asked him if he had any magic voo-doo to help get labor started. He has this water track thing that he uses (he's also a physical therapist) and he said I could come on Saturday morning and use it for free if he's there; he wasn't sure he'd be in there Saturday morning or not. He said he's had 3 women go into labor from it...one while she was in there and the other two just 5-8 hrs later. Of course I didn't ask him how many *didn't* go into labor from it but it's worth a shot I suppose.

I haven't posted here before, but hopefully posting will help me start something! I'm not due until the endo f the month either (according to ultrasound - this Monday according to what I thought)... and I've got NOTHING. No cramps and even worse - I feel really GREAT. Maybe I need to take a hike or something??? Went swimming with my 2 kids yesterday and even babysit my neighbors two youngest in the afternoon - surely that should have helped with something! Nope. Had a bunch of contractions *last* Sunday, but I'm still out of luck. Hopefully something will get going soon for us all .
