Civics/ Huskies and Ponies??

I am so eager to get to the next Presidential election, I thought I'd tackle civics with the kids this fall

My kids are 6 and 11 and we talk about politics quite a bit. I thought a course or study guide might impart them with a more objective opinion

I saw "Huskies and Ponies" in the RR catalogue and wondered if anyone had opinions? Any other suggestions?

I feel the same way. I'm giddy about getting to teach civics during an election year. I intend to use Oak Meadow civics for ds. He is 12 and civics is in the 8th grade package. I saw Huskies and ponies in my RR catalog. It looks like it would be interesting and more age appropriate for my girls 5 and 10. They would like the idea of earning badges ect., but I'm not sure if it is a Christian program or if it is any way biased. So if anyone has some info I would love to hear as well.
