Hi
I'm looking into books on homeschooling methods/curriculums/unschooling..
at the moment I *think* we're unschooling :

Not interested in articles as much because I really need to get away from the computer and read an actual book.

Good authors/books/styles:
John Holt - unschooling
Maria Montessori - Montessori (though I would suggest getting one that is not by her to start out with and talks more about the methods - she's a bit dry)
Charlotte Mason
Susan Wise Bauer - Classical (Well Trained Mind)

Other books:

Home Sweet Homeschool
Real Life Homeschooling

Not a book, but I have some links on my website for Charlotte Mason, Classical, Waldorf and Unit Studies.

Mary Griffith wrote a good one, very popular - The Homeschool Handbook - an overview/comparison of popular methods - then she wrote the The Unschooling Handbook to elaborate more on that. That's a very good one. In both cases, there are comments from lots of homeschoolers. Her website has more info on them. And of course you can probably "look inside" or even "search inside" them on the Amazon.com site. Lillian
