So yesterday was my birthday. I had a bunch of good things happen yesterday. Little things, but I'm all about the little things so it made the day great.
I DVR Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff Angel daily. The two episodes of Angel from Tuesday that I watched just after midnight Wednesday morning were two of my favorites. That was a good start to my birthday!
Then I felt my first real baby flutters. Which was really reassuring. I know everythings okay since I have a doppler, but not feel the kicks had me kind of worried.
Then in the morning when DH got home he brought in the mail. I got my order of tarts and $20 from my grandparents! Great mail day, now only if the diaper covers had gotten here, too! LOL
I sold some diapers I haven't been able to sell for MONTHS (kissaluv contours) and was able to use the money to buy the baby 5 fitteds and 3 covers.
And the biggie- I GOT A JOB!!!! All week a call center I'd applied at had called me back early in the morning. Which woke up dd and scared her. By the time I got her quieted (since I didn't want to answer the phone with a screaming baby next to me) I had inevitably missed the call. I finally got through to a real person yesterday and I start on Monday morning!!!
And the night ended with thunderstorms. Thunder, lightening, and heavy rains. We'd needed the rain (we got over an inch!) and I am a huge fan of storms. It was the perfect end to a great night!
