anyone else not that hungry?

somehow i'm just not that hungry much of the time. i'm not nauseous anymore, but i just don't have as much appetite as i'd expect, especially still nursing too. maybe it's just being busy, working at home and taking care of 14mo DD. if it weren't for trying to be healthy for baby, i'd prefer to eat less. my wt. gain was pretty normal at my last apt.- 5 lbs. @ 14 wks. i think.

anybody else not so hungry?

Me, but I did go through a stage a couple wks ago where I ate all the time and gained 5 pds in 2 wks. So I think my body is trying to catch up from that period

I've definitely had a decrease in appetite. I get very hungry, but can't eat the same portions I used to. In fact, I've already lost more than 5 pounds! I started overweight, and the baby is fine, so no concern there. I also broke my leg 8 weeks ago, and that seemed to have some affect on my appetite too.

I'm not nauseous anymore and still have no appetite. I'm actually a bit worried since I'm not nursing and probably should be forcing myself to eat even though I'm just not hungry.

I'm not very hungry. I know I'm eating less than before this pregnancy. Food just isn't intresting to me and at times is revolting. I've gained back maybe 2 lbs of the 10 I lost early on.

Ditto to all. I may have lost a couple of pounds, but I'm pretty much just maintaining. Nothing sounds good to me, but I do find myself nibbling on sugary treats more than anything. Also, I had strep throat in June and now I have Bronchitis, so that may have contributed. (That's another story... why am I getting these "Winter" illnesses? I'm supposed to be immune because I'm pg, right?! I blame the baby BOY. This never happened with my girl. ;-)

Anyway, I'm feeling very guilty because I'm not forcing myself to eat healthy food. I'm not worried about weight, just worried about getting enough nutrition to grow a healthy baby AND boost my immunity.

Sigh.

not hungry. not interested in food. i juice probably 10 pounds of vegetables a day but i really hardly eat a thing. it's hot. i drink water and milk. i take flaxseed oil, vita lea supplements from shaklee, calcium chews, vitamin C, acidopholus, yeast remedy herbal capsules, and a magnesium/zinc blend- all throughout the day when i remember (most days)

sometimes i crave meat and eat a big steak or something. that's about it.

food is gross.

When I first wake up I can't eat anything, but about 2 hours later I feel like I'm famished and if I don't put food in me this instant I will die from hunger. As soon as I eat, I feel human again.

And in the evenings when I do eat I wind up feeling starved AFTER I eat.

For the last two or three weeks I was EXTREMELY hungry, but it's slacked off a bit this week. I still get hungry every two or three hours, but I've done that my whole adult life.

I've usually gained at least 50 pounds in a pregnancy, but this time I am not all that hungry. Or maybe I am hungry but nothing seems worth bothering myself to eat... nothing sits well or sounds good, etc..

In fact, sometimes I end up sick because I haven't eaten enough that day. I am sure I am eating enough for the baby, but not enough for me, you know?

I'm going to be 22-23 weeks this Friday (depending on whom you ask) and recently I gained 5 pounds. Supposedly you gain the most in the second tri, so I don't know what to expect for the rest of the pregnancy.

I'm not. I was slighty underweight to begin this pregnancy and I've only gained about 4 or 5 lbs so far (I'm 18 weeks.) I am kind of concerned about it but not overly so because recently my baby has been SO active. I think I had gained about 10 with my previous pregnancy by this point (even thought I was still vomiting daily all the way to about 24 weeks) so it's strange. I didn't have m/s nearly as bad this time so I kind of wondered if I'd pack on the lbs.

However, food has never really been my "thing" - I just don't have much of a relationship with it. I probably eat better this time around because I am not working and eating out for lunch each day. Also, I am caring for a 21-month-old whose favorite word in the world is, "NO!"

Not hungry at alllllllllllll.

Which is very unusual for me, to say the least. :

I'm almost 18 weeks, and I'm still -2 lbs.

Having said that, my midwife isn't concerned because she wants me to save most of my weight gain for between 20-30 weeks (I'm a bigger mama to begin with).

I just wanted to add 'Yeah, that'. I was so gung-ho about being a nutritional machine this time around. When I was pg with my dd, we barely had any $$ so I basically ate whatever we could afford to buy. This time, money's not the issue, but it's almost like I've become completely ambivalent to what I should be taking in. The same with water! Agh!

Not interested in food. I do eat... but I have to remember to do it! I don't WANT to eat. Even now it's 10:23 and I haven't eaten anything yet today. Haven't even gained 3 lbs yet (20w1d). Urk.
