Hi all,
we had a fast and beautiful home birth of our sweet boy Milo. It was amazing having a second birth and feeling more able to notice the labor and birth itself. I spent many many sleepless nights with all of you reading posts and feeling the exact same way about the things that came up through our pregnancies, although I didn't post hardly ever. Congrats to everyone, and here's our boy.

cheers!
eta: His birthday was 7/14/07 and he was born at 4:23pm. I had a few contractions during the morning, went to the farmers market and the baby resale shop, started noticing them about 1:30, and they got serious about 2:30. Like I said, short and sweet. He was born on a birthing stool. After I was complete my waters still hadn't broken. I gave a big push, and they went KERPLASH! all over my midwife, and the floor! (they found a puddle behind where she was sitting after he was born!) 3 pushes later he was born. My first thought as I felt his body leave mine was "I'm not pregnant any more!!!" He's a dream, and our 2 year old is hanging in there, but it's definitely not easy. (and I'm not on my own yet!)

: I think we'll make it though. good luck to you too!
That would be wild.
: It's annoying to get hit, but i know it will pass as I'm more mobile and we get in the groove of the three of us. In-laws are on the way, and i know that will help poor dh who is working really hard to give me the rest i need, temper our big boy, and give love to our new baby. (oh yeah, and work full time!)daddies definitely don't have it easy, even tho we do the babymaking work.
