How are you feeling? Symptoms? - Page 3

Today I started feeling very queasy. This is unusual for me. My first pg I felt great the whole time. This time also very sensitive to smells and soooooooo tired. It is so hard to slow down with a 2yo.
I am also starving. When I eat I have to force myself to stop, otherwise I could really eat a ton. I guess it is the nursing. But then today after snacking on some sesame tortilla chips I felt so queasy. Guess maybe I ate too many? I wouldn't mind skipping m/s again, but if I have to have it for my pg to be different this time and maybe have a GIRL I will deal with it!

I thought the m/s was bad before...I've been dragging myself off the floor for the last few days. I'm bloated, feel like I'm growing a ton (lots of round ligament pain)
OH, I hear ya. My dad eats bacon every morning. :Puke
Never had a problem with it before. The smell now? OMG, get me to the toilet, please! It wakes me up from my deep, DEEP sleepy slumber, even these days!

The smell of any raw meat makes me want to throw up. It's been a real struggle over the last week and a half or so cooking for my family. They've been forced to eat lots of pasta and beans and cheese and non-meat dishes.

OK, now this may sound like an odd question, but does anyone else get way hairy during a pregnancy? I don't really get the sore bbs until later, and I don't normally battle constant m/s, but I become sasquatch woman. I feel like I'm constantly having to shave or pluck something. It's fortnate that I have fine, fair hair, but there's just so much if it. If I went without plucking, I'm sure in no time I would have a Bert (of Bert and Ernie fame) unibrow, and a 70s mustache I don't even want to say what I would look like if I didn't shave. So weird, but even around my belly button, hair has appeared out of nowhere. I don't mind it when the hair atop my head becomes full and luxurious, but I do mind it when my belly button hair does.

I haven't experienced this, but I am waiting to stop losing hair. I really enjoyed not having to clean up all the hair around the bathroom sink with my first pregnancy.

The smell of just peas, of all things, in the car the other day was making me gag.

My symptoms

My symptoms come and go with no rhyme or reason! I'm 4 weeks, 3 days prego. Here they are in order of most noticeable:

*Sore breast
*Excessive thirst/hunger (I feel like the venus fly trap in Little Shop of Horrors..."Feed me Seymour"!!!)
*Bloating, stinky farts, and general wierd gurgles in the colon region
*Cramping in the uterus region
*Waking up at 4 am every night with incredible urge to pee
*Dizzy
*Mild nausea, but no vomiting spells
*Little crazy "inside" alter-ego person erupted a couple of times when I really needed to eat
*Mild heartburn

hi mommycakes

I say enjoy the sadness, watch a tear-jerker like beaches and just ball your eyes out. It's so funny, that is how I knew I was pregnant every time. I am not a crier so much, but I will cry at an AT&T commercial before I realise I am pregnant. I was watching some tv show and bawling this time and realized "I must be pregnant" One pregnancy test (alright 3 pg tests) later and here I am. Who are you seeing for your pregnancy and where are you planning to deliver?

Oh, Anita, I am having all those gurgles, and bloats, too. It's awful. Sometimes I wish I'd just vomit already (as if that would settle my stomach). I get this really awful over-sensitive gag-reflex, too. Does anybody else have that?? I just start gagging for no reason. Gagging on my toothbrush, on my vitamins... it is very annoying, and to make matters worse, dh thinks it's funny. :

With my first pregnancy, I used the mw's at the Center for Women's Health @ Evergreen and gave birth (naturally) at Evergreen as well. It was a fantastic, empowering experience and I'd do it again if I had to. I'm guessing this will be another low-risk, easy-squeezy pregnancy so I've made my first appointment with the midwives at Puget Sound Birth Center. I haven't really decided on birth center or hb--I still have lots of questions.

I've been crying at everything lately too. I was having a rough morning yesterday--super sad and down again. I was standing in line at the zoo, holding my dd and chatting away when I heard a little voice down by my leg. A sweet little girl was looking up at me and said, "You look really pretty". You do not know how much I needed to hear that. I teared up a bit and thanked her

how funny!

I saw the midwives at evergreen for both my daughters. Deb Monson delivered Lucy and Mary Bachko delivered Violet. I had GD with my last pregnancy so I am planning to see the MW at evergreen again. I will admit had an epidural with my last delivery (at 7.5 cm) which I think was out of fear. My first pregnancy I was induced with Pitocin and it was the most horribly painful thing I have ever endured. 10 hours of pitocin labor! Yuck. I have heard great things about PSBC from so many moms. You'll have to let me know how it goes!

I am reallllllllllly sleepy, back hurting, pukey feeling, but not too bad yet. My feet really hurt and I am very thirsty and peeing tremendously. That's about it. The constipation diarrhea flip-flopping has passed, so that is a nice relief.

My mouth is hurting but it's because I had a wisdom tooth pulled yesterday so it's only contributing to making me feel not so great.

I am so happy to be pregnant again though!

Sore breasts kicked in for me this weekend. Just a graze is uncomfortable. I didn't know what you all were talking about or what to expect it to feel like until now.
