What form does your Patronus take? - Page 2

Mine would either be a giraffe or a lynx.

Giraffes because I love them, they are just so, so weird.

A lynx because they are bad@sses. I mean, have you ever seen one? I guess if I wanted something as a protector, or to fight for me, or anything like that, it would be some sort of good-sized cat. Cats are just wild, snarling, killing machines. (I guess by this standard, I could have also chosen a badger or a wolverine, but cats are more graceful and prettier. )

Mine would be a dolphin, no doubt...I have always loved them and in 1999 I got to swim with them, it was a dream come true.

All right, it's official. I'm stalking you. Sorry.

A giraffe! Love it! I have a giraffe as my avatar on other sites.

I love the idea of this charging silvery giraffe with its long silvery neck!

ETA: Have you finished DH? I don't want to give any spoilers (not sure if it's okay or not), but you know who has a lynx?

I think horse. I've always had a soft spot for them although I've never owned one. Otherwise a bird of some kind.

Mine is a beaver. No question about it.

That's from the movie, so I don't know if you can consider it "canon." In the DA scenes in Order of the Phoenix book, only Hermione produces a corporeal patronus.

Maybe we should start a tribe for giraffe lovers. People who get it, get it, and those who don't cannot have it explained to them.

Hmm... no, I'm sitting here thinking about it, and I don't remember who has a lynx patronus. Yes, I've finished Deathly Hallows, but I lent it to my friend, so I can't go look for it.

(P.S. Stalk me all you want, just don't carve my name in your leg or anything. : )

Ooh... I love giraffes too... but I don't think I'm too... giraffe-y :

I think mine might be a duck-billed platypus. I'm kind of from two different worlds... or at least... I look "normal" on the outside, but I'm really crunchy on the inside.... does that make sense? People are always taken aback when my crunchiness is revealed, anyway, so I'm assuming that's the case. So, like a platypus, some of this, some of that, I guess.

Mine's a moose.

More of the stately type moose, but also the ungainly gangly type moose. I have a big rack. :

Thanks! DH and I were actually talking about 'my patronus' and we both, independently- mind you- decided that mine was a beaver. Hmmm...

Yeah, but no one would know what it was, since they don't exist (except in the minds of the Lovegoods!)

So true, so true.

And ewwwww! I had friends who did that whole "carving" thing and can I just say how incredibly freaked out it made me?

(But I may write your name in my butter before I eat my toast! : Wait....is that creepy? )

Okay, you must elaborate. Preferably, with pictures.
