Chances of getting CP from shedding?

I was at my friend's house with my (unvaxed) toddler the other day, when she informed me that her son had the CP vax that day. Oy.

I'd prefer Thomas not to get CP while I'm pregnant and exhausted, but if he does, he does. Is there a high probability he picked it up? How long does it incubate if he indeed caught it?

Oh... and is there a difference between CP caught from a shedding vaccine or "wild" CP? Will the former still give him immunity when he's done with it?

Thanks for any supportive insight.

I think it's pretty hit or miss. I have heard that there have been a number of cases; however, my dd has been around quite a few kids recently vax'ed for CP and nothing

Ds hasn't gotten from daycare and where all the other kids are vaxed on schedule and dropped off after their shots.

It would take a few days at the least to "incubate" before he was contagious. I think it's usually closer to a week. So no worries.
