http://www.writersweekly.com/new.php This is the Resources for New Writers page at WritersWeekly. The WritersWeekly site is great in general and has a very active and supportive forum. Lots of good info here.
http://anotherealm.com/prededitors/ Preditors and Editors--lets you know which publications, agents, contests, etc. are legit and which are trying to rook you out of time and money
http://www.mediabistro.com A job bank/board for writers...I found my trivia writing gig here. Does require registration.
http://www.ralan.com Primarily fantasy and sci fi genre-centered, but there are some good tips here about writing for professional rates
