If you could buy nice high quality wool knit soakers and diaper covers in a local boutique, with good craftmomship, how much would you pay?? How about natural fiber fitted dipes?
I would appreciate the input. I have a deal to make many different baby products with a local shop owner, and I'll have to give her samples and a price list by September. I know what online prices run, generally... but since this is an actual brick and mortar store, the owner has many more bills to pay rather than just website fees, kwim? Sooo, I need to figure profit margins for myself and the boutique owner, while at the same time keeping the prices reasonable.
Remember, these prices would be based on actually being able to walk into a local shop to buy, no shipping costs, no waiting. As far as quality, I hope to be doing very artistic covers some day... but for right now, give me a guesstimate of what you would pay for nice vibrant colors, and good workmomship only.
When I move on to using appliques or embroidery I can add to the price from the cost of doing the extra design work.

I'm also asking here instead of the diapering board, because some of you are also diaper makers, and know the costs of making your own diapers.
