Which direction do you turn your blinds to keep out the most radiant (solar) heat? DH and I are constantly in turmoil over this issue: I say you turn them with the slats up so that heated air between your window and the blind does not rise up and into the house. DH maintains that this allows more light, and therefore more heat to get into the house, and so he turns the slats down.
