i wish....i had a c-section so i got pumped with fluids, and didnt get the massive calorie burning workout that others refer to as "labor"

i weighed myself in the hospital after i had dd2 and i still weighed 164, and that was with no baby inside me anymore

hopefully i have lost a good amount by the time i go in for my 6 week checkup!

Ah, so I bet it's mostly water weight then...you'll loose that fast. How is nursing going?

Well, I gained more than 60 with dd, but only lost about 20... I started this time more than 40 pounds heavier than with her. I had diarreah around weeks 5-6 or so and lost about 8 pounds.

So between starting at 185 (overweight), and losing a little right off the bat, I body really didn't need much more in the way of fat reserves. I do also think that I must have lost some off the rest of my body too, plus everyone tells me that I look really small for how far I am - although I am measuring fine.

But I do have to say it's much better than having to tell people I gained over 60 like I did with dd. Even after I have this baby, I will still be quite a bit heavier than I was when I got preggo with dd1.

i hope so! :

nursing is going well, better than with dd1....or maybe its just that i know what to expect. Natalie still hasnt started gaining again and we have another weight check on monday....i sooo hope they don't try and push formula b/c i am NOT going down THAT road again.....i'll walk around with her nursing 24/7 before i start giving formula!

and i'm bummed b/c my fav ped is leaving the practice in a month, and im torn if i should follow him wherever he may go, or stay and see the other ped, who is nice, but isn't my fav.

SO glad it is going well. That is tough when you find someone you like and they have to leave.
