I'm definitely in!!!
Had a hugely negative reaction to finding the new out but I think I've made peace with my circumstances (pg included) and am going to expect the best
Having a ddc was soooooo great with my second ds. I'm so excited to have a group of mamas to be preggo buddies with!!

I'm going to go ahead and poke my head in here . . . got a + this afternoon, though faint.

We had a BC oops on day 10 of my cycle. I was stunned for 24 hours, but then I started warming up to the idea of another babe. So I'm pleased as punch to have gotten the + now. Funny how that works.

Congrats to everyone, looking forward to sharing the next 8+ months!

Sorry if TMI

So is anyone else's boobs starting to change? I guess mine are a little fuller but the weirdest thing is my nipples, they seem to have gotten bumpy???
Anyone else ever had this or is currently having this?
I'm only 31 days along. 4 weeks, three days.

Not in your DDC but just wanted to mention that you could PM the mod to see when it will be up.

Ha! If you think THIS is TMI : just wait till we start talking secretions as we progress in our pregnancies. That's the great thing about a ddc.. you've got lots of other mamas to compare notes with

My breasts have been through two babies and toddlers in the past four years so they aren't feeling much of anything right now, or looking any different for that matter. But if this is your first, it's not uncommon that you should be noticing weird changes.

Any other mamas still nursing a babe/toddler/preschooler?

This is my first pregnancy while still nursing (the other kids were 13 years apart).

I'm feeling more tired than last time and am worried both about DD receiving less milk (she has dairy allergies and the BM is a pretty significant part of her dietary intake) and worried about me maintaining and adequate diet for the growing babe.

Wondering how other nursing pregnant mamas are handling nutrition during their pregnancy.

I'm still nursing my 16 month old DD. Only time will tell what happens but I'm not worried as I have never lost milk before and I never nursed through a pregnancy before. I think I'm just one of the lucky ones. She nurses at least 10-12 times a day now. I'm not really worried at all about it...I am worried about her sharing her boobies with the new babe! She's mighty territorial with them! DH will pretend to try to get some and she attacks him!

I'm also nursing. My DD is 26 months old and is WAY into her boobs. I am so so so hoping that I will keep my milk. DD gets so much of her nutrition from BM. I would feel really bad if she ended up weaning because I got pregnant. I just don't feel that she's ready.

Thus far, I have absolutely no symptoms (at 4 weeks).

Hello Ladies. I got my BFP today 9dpo. I'm hoping for a sticky this time. I got 2 + on to different types of test. I'm feeling very good about it this time to. Last month I had an early m/c and I had a feeling it was going to happen from the start. I look forward to getting to know all of you over the course of the next 9 months or more.

nursing a 28 month old here...he nurses like most 6 month olds (or at least 6mo's who don't eat solids, lol). the nipple pain was horrendous earlier this week, but i'm either getting a break right now or it's tapering off. hoping for the latter. i don't think i have the patience for tandem nursing, so i hope ds weans during the pgcy. if not, i'll just have to acquire more patience, i guess.

my 1st symptom was actually tender nipples. i thought for two weeks that i was getting thrush again b/c my hpt's were all negative! then i started getting some mild cramping & leg willies (it was me that mentioned it!! sorry! ). i finally got a bfp 2 weeks ago & since then my nausea has kicked it up a notch. at first i thought it was just from it being so hot here, but nope. m/s. oh, and heartburn, exhaustion (but not as bad as w/ ds), cramping, peeing more often. the most noticeable thing that has changed (prepare for tmi) is my, er, personal scent. and copious amounts of discharge. i don't remember that with #1 until pretty late in 1st trimester. everything seems to be hitting me earlier, except for the exhaustion. i'll take that as a good sign, but it scares me, too: what if there are twins in there?????

congrats to all the newly preggos & good luck & healthy sticky baby vibes to the lot of us!!

oh, and i'm due april 1 & planning a hb after a dreamy bc birth for #1.

Congrats!

Are you Dutch or a transplant? I'm American, but DH is Dutch. Maybe we'll see you at one of our future Dutch meet-ups?

Same here, I'm American and hubs is Dutch. We lived in the US (East Coast) for seven years (I met him at grad school) and moved to NL in 2002. It's taken us a while to get used to Eindhoven (he's originally from the Haarlemmermeer) but now we're pretty well settled in. The kids are definitely Brabanders

Woa, travelling pretty far OT here . I assume the meet-ups are announced in the NL tribal area--would be fun!
