Well, I'm 9 days "overdue" (and was very sure of my duedate) and had an NST about an hour ago. Baby's heartrate was showing a clear (not too major) decel on each contraction, so we're heading over to L&D for more monitoring and most likely an induction today. I already know this will be a very different birth than my natural birth center birth with DS1, but I'm really ok with that-- though still hoping to have a peaceful, gentle induction and avoiding an epidural. Just want my baby to get here safely! I'll update you all when I can!
ETA: Baby Adam arrived on July 25 by c-section. The birth was a snowball effect of everything I had always wanted to avoid during labor, but it turned out ok in the end as Adam is here and I am feeling well and just got home from the hospital today. I'll post a birth story and photo soon, but right now I'm off to take a nap. BTW, he was 9lbs, 12 oz and 21.25 inches long. Thanks for the well wishes!
