Funny things toddlers say about new baby

A couple days ago ds and I were cleaning the infant car seat and he told me "I want to take her out"
I said "you want to take her out?"
he said, "Yeah, I want to take her out of your belly!"

He talks all the time about how he's going to ride in the back of the car with her and help her get dressed, and snuggle with her and share "babas" with her. That will be interesting because he's been fully weaned from the breast since the first week of May, but he obviously remembers nursing. I think (hope) he just means he wants to sit on my lap too while she nurses!

My daughter is 5, and she self-weaned just before her 3rd birthday. But, suddenly, only since I've been pregnant, she is enamored of my "leche mamas" as we call them. Whenever she sees me naked, she just gazes at me, and then will reach up and pat me on the breast. I think she has memories of nursing, but doesn't realize that she remembers!

But, on your topic... I had a toddler ask me at a 4th of July party why my belly is so big. I told him there's a baby in there. He asked me "When the baby comes out will you die?" So, apparently the boy has seen aliens, but he has no idea about how babies are born! (For a second I worried that his mother might have died in childbirth or something, but she was there at the party!)

My dd also wants to take the baby out. She swipes at my belly with her hand and then holds it out and says, "look, I got Luna. She's very small, huh?" Then sometimes she pretends to eat her or put her on my arm. :
She doesn't seem too thrilled about sharing her num, though. I think she's going to be a little weird about that.

My son has a baby in his belly too. I am carrying his sister, and he is carrying his brother. He just started with the "When is the baby going to be born? It's taking a really really long time." talk.

He is starting to slowly wean (at 3.5) he will check in and nurse every other day, but only for a few seconds, and he'll stop and say, "better save some for the baby."

My 3 yo dd likes to remind me that the baby is naked inside my tummy, and she insists that his name is going to be baby boy.

My 2.75 year old DS gives a big smile and says "The baby is going to come out of mommy's belly" then says "milk is going to come out of mommy's belly" (ew, kinda gross) because I told him that his sister is going to bring more milk with her, so he puts the two together. I wonder if he says it like that to his preschool teachers.

Mine likes to say "THE BABY IS GOING TO COME OUT OF MOM'S VAGINA!"

My ds is technically not a toddler but a preschooler (3 1/2, will be 4 on September 2) but he chants "baby in mama's belly" and tells anyone and everyone that baby is in Mama's "u-trus" and "do you remember Xopeetch and Bumpy?" Those are his names for my breasts -- yikes! He tries to point but I try to politely move away with a smile -- these are store customers, OK? Then he chants, "Xopeetch, Bumpy and Baby" in a loving tone. "I love the baby." "The baby's cute."

Mine says "will this baby have to be cutted out like Abby or will it know how to follow directions?" (Abby was transverse).

Mine toddlers are constantly telling me the want the baby to come out so they could really hug me (I guess my belly is in the way). Also they named the baby ("Baby Sparky Cocco"). How will I ever explain that to the baby!

All the kids at DDs school are obsessed with what we will name the baby. I refuse to tell anyone! DH and I decided to keep it a secret since everyone already knows he's a boy. But, these kids are totally obsessed. When I tell them that Claire will announce it to them after he's born, they start giving me ideas for boys names that we could use!
