Will all you new mommies share baby pics?! - Page 3

Baby's name: Crisanto Tomasino
Baby's EDD: July 20th
Baby's actual birthdate: August 4th, 9:58am
Something unique about this baby: he's incredibly tall, born at 23.75 in (that's almost half my mom's height! heehee) it makes it tricky to feed a baby you can't fit on your forearm

Also, his name means Chrysanthemum in both Spanish and Greek. It's both my favorite flower and the Emperial seal of Japan (he was conceived in Japan)

How is mom and family adjusting: We're doing well. Even our dog is content with the new addition.

just a couple photos:

Charlotte

Baby's Name: Charlotte Clare

Baby's EDD: July 4

Baby's actual Birthdate: 28 June

Something Unique about this baby:

~ She was born in my bedroom during the night,

~ She has Down Syndrome and had surgery on her tummy when she was 2 days old. She has a tiny hole in her heart that will be magically made good as new when she is around 6 months old.

~ She makes her family proud, and she makes strangers smile and causes their voices to go up an octave when they speak to her.

~ She has the longest feet in the history of baby feet!!!

How is mom & family adjusting? Her two older brothers adore her like mad and her mamma is still figuring out how to hold a newborn! Dad is waiting for her to be "fun" but loves letting her sleep on his chest in the meantime.

I've been trying to get some cool photos but she is either sleeping or wiggling!

Baby's Name: Liam Irving
Baby's EDD: July 17
Baby's actual Birthdate: June 28
Something Unique about this baby: His "kissy face". He started puckering up within the first couple weeks. I don't know why he did it, but I started in with "look at those kissy lips! Is that your kissy face?" and kissing him. Now he puckers up and leans in to be kissed.
How is mom & family adjusting? We just returned from our first road trip to visit my family. If he had any schedule before, it's totally blown. Dh and I are stupid-tired, but we are in love with this little pumpkin. He is a dream come true.
Here he is after his bath:

And here he is having some floor time with his faithful friend, Sal:

Baby's Name: Jackson Scott (Jake)
Baby's EDD: July 22

Baby's actual Birthdate: August 6 (Little story here - DH and I think of 6 as our special lucky number. Our first date was on the 6th of February. We got married on the 6th of July (even though we were planning on the 5th), so we joke now that Jake held on til 42 weeks 1 day so he could be born on the 6th of the month. )

Something Unique about this baby: Why everything. And nothing. Oh, but ETA: When he cries, he sings Laaaaa and Waaaaa. My 10 year old DD said we should note his first word in the baby book as "Waaaa," because he literally says that when he cries...

How is mom & family adjusting? We're all much happier and energetic now that my milk is in and the boy is sleeping better with a satisfied tummy.

He's 5 days old today - here are some photos.

I can't believe how fast he's already changing!

Baby's Name: Kyllian Gregory
Baby's EDD: July 15, 2007
Baby's actual Birthdate: July 29, 2007
Something Unique about this baby: He only has eyes for mama
How is mom & family adjusting? It's been rough adjusting to 3 little ones, 3 yrs old and under. It's fun, but challenging.

Baby's Name: Sage Evelyn

Baby's EDD: July 23, 2007

Baby's actual Birthdate: August 4th

Something Unique about this baby: she's got the sweetest disposition I think I've ever seen in a baby. She's so gentle when she nurses, my boys just weren't like that. I'd also like to point out that she's a girl that's definitely unique!

How is mom & family adjusting? We're adjusting well. I was rather weepy the past couple of days but feel much better today. The boys are enamored by her and daddy is already wrapped around her little finger.

Baby's Name:Mark Patrick
Baby's EDD: July 26
Baby's actual Birthdate: July 27 (induced due to BP)
Something Unique about this baby: He is the first grandbaby for both sides of the family. He grew a pound in the last week (all these feedings haven't been for nothing)
How is mom & family adjusting? Somen days it is easier than being pregnant, some days I am struggling with being a tired weepy new mom. DH is not used to so little sleep, but other than that adjusting well- he is a great father. Baby is happy and healthy and refuses to sleep in his bassenette.
and share a baby pic or two!!
This is our blog with lots of photos

Never thought I'd get to post to this thread!!!

But, he's FINALLY here!!

Baby's Name: Caleb Evan Woods
Baby's EDD: July 31
Baby's actual Birthdate: August 6th
Something Unique about this baby:

+ He looks just like is brother, but with golden blond hair!!

+ He is SO calm and easy going, it's almost hard for me to get used to!! I want to pet him constantly and he just prefers to be left alone! I asked the midwife today if that was 'normal' as my first just wanted to be HELD HELD HELD and she said he was perfectly content, never traumatized at birth, etc...

+ He was born at HOME in our big ole bed!!! :

How is mom & family adjusting?

+ This is my first hour off strict bedrest, but I'm recovering still... Daddy has taken EXCELLENT care of us this week, so I'm feeling great now, but mw insists I take it easy and keep my legs together for at least another week...

+ Big Brother started 1st grade 2 days after the baby arrived and he comes home from school SO excited to see him, it is absolutely precious!!! I do think he's a little perturbed at me right now though, as I haven't been able to get out of bed to do anything with him for a week now and he's used to being entertained! Luckily, dad has been there to play with him, so he seems to be adjusting now...

+ He was born at 8lbs 10 oz -- This morning, at 5 days old, he weighed 9lbs 4oz!

Pics: (just a few! )

Such beautiful babies. I can't stand it- they are so cute!!! What I can't get over is that the boys look like boys and the girls look like girls- even if I didn't look at their names. You can just tell.
