My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
The nurse called with the results of my ultrasound and said I would need a repeat scan after my next appointment. They couldnt get a visual on the 3 vessels of the cord. Now, I'm googling and freaking myself out. :
Don't worry yourself. A 2 cord vessel isn't something terribly dangerous or life threatening. ANd it easily could just be that they didn't get a good u/s pic of it. Don't google to much and scare yourself silly.
My only advice is to stop googling. My friend had a 2 vessel cord and her baby is a very healthy happy 4 year old now. And she had been healthy from the minute she was concieved.
Hugs! I had to go back because of the nasal bone and heart chambers. Turns out they just weren't able to get a good look/angle and all is well. Sometimes the baby's just in an awkward position or they can't see something they like to check for and so you have to go back in - only to learn everything's fine! It's good that there's feedback here on 2 vessel cords to further reassure you.
What made me feel better is knowing that some women don't have any u/s at all and everything is fine - even though the docs don't get a look at every little thing. I dunno if that will help you! When they do get a look I'm sure they'll have some answers for you that reassure you!
Don't freak out just yet If your Dr. is anything like mine, they've started doing the anatomical ultrasounds a little earlier and the ultrasound techs just aren't seeing everything they're supposed to see - I have to go for another one, too, because they couldn't see one thing (can't even remember what it was, that's how little I'm concerned).

Exactly. Two vessel cords are not as uncommon as people think. I suggest NOT looking stuff up on the internet- you always get more scary than good in that sense. I know of a couple handfuls of people whose children are and healthy, perfect, and beautiful who had two vessel cords.
You'll be fine, and you don't know for sure yet- so relax mama. Everything will probably be okay.
More hugs for you!
I agree with others -- step away from the computer. I made myself hysterical last time with worry that I had cholestasis. I didn't.
They're just being careful and even if it's a 2 vessel cord, it will be just fine.
Someone here at work was telling me about 2 vessel cords. Don't google it, and don't worry. I guess it happens all the time. Her 4 year old had a two vessel cord and he's fine now.
I learned the "don't google" lesson last pregnancy when my OB sent me for a big ultrasound due to low amniotic fluid very early on. She wrote "oligohydramnios" on my referral paperwork. Oh how I wish I'd not googled that word and saved myself some serious -- and completely unneccessary -- heartache.
DS was a two vessel cord and no one noticed at all on any of his ultrasounds. He was born just fine, and quite big at 9lbs and a couple ounces and is happy and healthy and poking himself in the head with DH's bottle cleaning wand as we speak.
