I think it's a brilliant plan, though I have yet to implement it.
My last one was a few months ago too, and got a new piercing. I know getting another would make me feel so much better. I think, if I get my yard cleaned out and the gardens/yard/play area laid out I should reward myself

I'd love to see photos, TRIBE.

Here's a ridiculously huge photo of mine. The one on my neck is the new one.

You can see them in a more reasonable size (as well as turtle's hawt new pin-up tatt) here.

I've been sick!!! Today's the first day I've really felt well enough to come visit MDC.

On Wednesday I had my friend get me some groceries. I had nothing at home that I felt I could eat and keep down

He spent $6 on grapes!! : The bread he brought me was almost $4!!

This guy is young and still lives at home and doesn't need to shop for food! LOL Poor guy he did his best!

He/I spent $30!

Yesterday and today nothing has been spent though!

If I didn't fall off the wagon completely this morning, I really fell off tonight. I spent $127.20 on airline tickets for a wedding. Our travel expenses are off the charts. $127.20 was for two roundtrip tickets-it would have been $400 on top of that, but I had a voucher from when they bumped me off a flight last month. We could have driven, but gas and hotel would have cost that or more. Ugh.
post #935 of 1106
21-89$ house insurance
22-
23-184.12 Groceries (all good except a 5$ book for ds), $16.50 library fines :
24-$5.25 dh chiro

Yeesh I better get good at this fast. DH is a teacher so we've had no income since June and we have $300 to last the next 3 weeks.

Progress on Goals:
* Less than $200 in frivolous spending - August to date: $123.12
* At least 20 days - 17/31
* NO McDonald's - 20/31
* Pack snacks + water for outings - 15?/31
* Avoid Target - 24/31

Whew! Finally all caught up, and the damage was not as bad as I feared. We had a lot of eating out expenses not noted; although they were beyond original budget, to be expected as brought the entire family to a hotel for 5 days while I worked on a charity air show. As that big event is over, 150K satisfied attendees, more than 100 hours worked last week, I can finally reclaim my life, check back in, and return to my PT position. Have no hope of reading everything I missed here, but hope everyone is doing well!

8/22 -- Spent:
$2.80 on coffee & M&Ms (cash on desk)
$33 on gas Filled gas tank (budgetted)
$3.75 to go swimming at the pool tonight (budgetted)
$5 on eBay bid I won

Saved:
Cancelled a $100 Amazon order as soon as I paid bills and realized how little I could afford it.
Saved myself $13 a month by cancelling an online subscription that I can live without.

8/23 -- Spent $98 on groceries and a binsi. Bought one unauthorized item at grocery store.

8/24 -- Spent $1.19 on M&Ms.

8/25: Spent $8 at USPS to mail things (see “Saved”)
Saved:
Returned $130 worth of stuff that I DON’T NEED (well… and some of it does not fit, so sour grapes).

AUGUST OVERALL: $8.50 spent (not counting canceled Amazon order, since no money actually ever left my possession).

And thanks for the positive feedback! An encouraging pat on the back is always appreciated!
