Not really TTC... How about HOPING to conceive???

We TTCed dd for so many months... It was heartbreaking to "fail" every month when AF would come, so this time DH and I have decided not to try, but to be aware and keep our fingers crossed. Anybody else feel this way?

Yes, same thing. It took us 3 years to have our first and after just giving up at one point for a year. I don't think that trying to conceive will work for us, I don't like that feeling of expecting something every month. So we are hoping to conceive too. Hopefully we will have an 08' baby. Good luck to you, and hope you conceive.

I think DH actually prefers to be in the dark about the timing. It's too much pressure when you're trying to make a baby!

We have been actively trying for 13 months for #2. I'm totally sick of the disappointment as well. I like your approach. I hope we all get what we want sooner rather than later!

It was ironic... We TTCed for months and then finally I gave up, stopped checking and everything. Then a couple months later I thouhgt, "Hmm. AF hasn't been around lately..." and sure enough I was pg.

I agree with the PP who said it's too much pressure to try to make a baby, plus for us we stopped having sex for fun, and only did it when it was time. This feels better so far.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the ony one doing this!
