We moved at the beginning of July and I have not completely unpacked a lot of plastic storage containers - a few of which contain some of ds's toys. These toys have not seen the light of day since being packed at the old house. I got a few toys out for ds; couple trucks, train cars, his portable "kitchen", some blocks, and he has his books.
I kind of figured he wouldn't miss the toys, but he really doesn't miss the toys! And I don't miss the toy clutter. The thing is I gave away probably 3 garbage bags of toys before we moved. We don't have a lot of extra room - actually no extra room - for all of these toys that are now packed.
Should I get rid of them? I feel guilty - why do I feel guilty? I don't indulge ds at all (the three bags were stuff from my family). I would take out a few things, some of his musical things for sure. I don't have room to store them nor do I want to.
