Bump...on Cervical opening?

Now, I'm not sure if this little bump (like a grain of barley) was there before since I only started charting in Feb.

I noticed (only since May when I had the miscarriage) that on one side of the cervical opening, there is a little bump.

I only really started checking CP in May too.

Anyone else have a little bump?

Is this normal?

Should I go have a pap?

I get a little bump every month right around O time and then again at AF. I think it's normal, but it can be a sign of something more significant.

Interesting...Since I'm around O time.

I have noticed it more these last few days, mabye I'll keep track for a cycle and see when it/if it appears/disappears.

i have a little bump, i'm not sure whether it is there all the time or comes and goes. i mentioned it to my doc when he did the pap, and he said that it could be scarring from childbirth, or just a normal cyst. he said nothing to worry about.

My OB said these are called Nabothian Cysts and they are very common.(in my case anyway, normal Pap tests etc.)

I always say if you have a concern ask your midwife or doctor.

Let us know what you find out!

i think that they are called nabothian cysts and tend to show up around O time and then leave until the next cycle. they are completely benign and ntohing to worry about. I get them too and use it as another "clue" to figuring out ovulation:-)
