sorry, I saw this title and had a funny thought
Like, does living in a windy city make things difficult?

Sorry: Bad Leila.

Could be.....:/

I was pregnant twice while on the east coast (rip my angels) and it never was a struggle to get preg but I moved here in 05 and its been a long journey since.....nothing against a littl ehumor I didn't take offense but actually started wondering if the midwest environment the problem?

I really wasn't trying to offend, it just created a funny visual!
I have often wondered about our environment here. I had 2 miscarriages last year...

we are just shy of 1 year TTC also, so i feel your pain : i will keep my fingers crossed for the both of us:-)

I am also over one year of TTC. We are already blessed with two children so we are lucky, but it still stinks to try for so long. Interestingly I am from Iowa but we lived in upstate New York when I easily got pregnant with both kids. Now we moved here and no luck. I was recently diagnosed with hydrosalpinx, so I know the reason but I hadn't thought location.

Maybe we should get a project going on "The Environmental Impact of Infertility" or something along those lines

Hun: I knew you weren't trying to offend I laughed but it surely made me think somethign like this

"Oh she got jokes!" *cracks up laughing
lol
lol
"Wait" *recaps the past three years* "She may BE on to something!"

Hopenaprayr-

Are you still in the 2WW?? I just started mine on yesterday.

Hey, everyone. I'm in my third cycle TTC #1, and I live in Wicker Park.

I wouldn't be surprised if the environment here affects some people, but based on the huge number of pregnant women I see in the grocery store where I work (not to mention all the unplanned pregnancies in my department alone), I doubt the city air is stifling reproduction in a statistically significant way.

I mean, it better not be.

I am officially out for a April baby but sure enough in great hopes for a May baby!!! Very hopeful even at 14 months of TTC....but gosh it is EXTREMELY hard and makes me cry every month since the 12 month mark hit.

Kristinc- Many many blessings to you all and wishes of a SUCCESSFUL tww and H&H 9mos.

AWWW I was really thinking this was going to be the month for you. Are you using any herbs, temping or anything to help increase the odds??

Thank you, you are so sweet. I know how sad it feels each month that aunt flo decides to show up. But it will happen, we have to believe that.

Thanks Kristinc ALOT....I have ordered a "TTC Kit" and an OvuLite microscope which should arrive in a couple days in time for practicing/learning the ferning patterns for fertility in my "TTC Kit" That I got from a lady on amazon who got pregnant after only using one test out of it (how funny is that) is 8 Pregnancy test strips; 16 ovulation predictor tests; and 1 "First Response" test kit. I think with the test strips and microscope I should be ready for this month's mission.

I really hope this is your month!!!!!!!!!
