Implantation spotting, not pregnant

Anyone get what they thought was implantation spotting but weren't pregnant? Do you think you were pregnant and had an early m/c? Just curious since this happened to me last month. I did have implantation spotting with ds#2.

In May this is what I thought happened... I had brown spotting and then nothing and then AF came about a week late. I never tested positive then. This month I swore I was having implantation spotting but it was just AF starting slow, I guess. I have never been pregnant so I don't know what to expect.

Lots of Baby Dust for next month!

it happened to me several months ago. i had a midcycle spotting, and was sure it was implantation (i had implantation spottind with DD), but af arrived about 4-5 days late. it could've been an early mc.

sometimes spotting occurs with ovulation as well, though. so if you are not charting or tracking cm and cervix, (i wasn't) there is no way of knowing, unless AF is really really heavy, i'd think.

Yes, last month (see chart). I had spotting at 7 dpo, which I never do... only once before that I'm aware of, and that was last year when I tested + a week later. Last month my luteal phase was also 1-2 days longer than expected, so I really have to wonder if I had fertilization but no implantation. Pg tests were all -, and I gave up testing around 13 dpo.

I was charting, and was 6dpo when I spotted. Too bad we can't know exactly what's going on in there. It sounds kind of silly, but I've always wished when I was pregnant I could just look through my belly and see all that was going on.
