hot weather and temping...

do you think the hot weather (no ac at home... 80-90 degrees inside all the time) could be the cause of my very slight temp shift at O?

TIA!

I definitely think that a quick change in temperatures in your bedroom can lead to changes in your body temp, but not drastically. When it gets hot I usually go up .1 or .2. I've never ready anything about it, but that's been my experience!

Unfortunately, I think this is one of those "every woman is different" things. It's funny you ask this, though, because I was just re-reading TCOYF last night and it was saying that some women can sleepwalk through snow and not have it effect their waking BBT - others are far more sensitive.

Is your bedroom warmer than usual? We generlly don't use AC (unless it's well over 90 degrees outside), so sometimes on warm evenings the bedroom gets a little hot. For some reason, though, for me personally this doesn't seem to make a huge impact on my temps. I've sweated through a hot night, and then gotten a 97.1 reading in the morning.

Did you have any other signs of O - such as CM, high cervix, OPKs?

I did notice that my cervix was high, and that i had a little more than cm than i usually have (not much) and it was watery and EW one day. i am all but certain that i Oed, it's just that usually when i O the temp shift is a lot more dramatic. i though that the heat in my house could beraising to my bbt, making the temp shift less obvious.
