faint line--do you see it? photo

so i tested again, and got another faint line :-(. this time i am certain it appeared within 4 minutes, as i timed it. but i was so hoping for a darker line. i should've waited until tomorrow...

i know i see it, but do you guys see it? it IS awfuly faint...photo

one test from yesterday (12-13), and one from today (13-14dpo).

RAIN!!! OMG, I absolutely see that line!! Faint is a relative term. I've seen much fainter lines on tests that were early BFPs.

As for the color getting darker or not getting darker - I think they look roughly the same. Today's test may even be a little bit darker. Why don't you put your mind at ease by running out and getting a First Response Early Response test or an Answer test? These both have good reputations as early tests.

I think congratulations are in order!!! Mind if I do a produce dance?

I can totally see that line!! Try using a different test next time ... it may be that the ones you have just don't get very dark. Maybe crack out a digital?

thanks, guys! i'm still so nervous. part of me is certain that i'm pregnant, but then there is all kind of doubt. there is a post just below by risen_joy--she had several faint lines in a row, but then a negative (, risen_joy).

okay, i just CAN'T get another test! there is only one pharmacy, and i know the pharmacist, and i don't want the whole town to know, because i know if she asks me, i'd be smiling (even if i'm a bit uncertain) and she will know, and then the whole town will know. and she will ask me, because she is ttc-ing too, and i found out about it from someone else! so nope. i'm not going to do it just now. i'd rather go for a blood test, but i don't want to do this either! these tests were what i ordered on-line.

ugh, i should've waited till tomorrow!!!

I totally see it!! Thats totally two lines. With our fourth we only ever got faint lines ...even when I tested for shits and giggles in the 9th month becuase it was going to expire...lol
only ever a faint line.

heck yeah, woman, BOTH are bfp's!

and open sunflower, hcg actually DECREASES after the first trimester as the placenta is established & generating progestin on its own.

(i know this because i, too, had very faint lines and a low hcg on a blood test, and when i researched it, i found out more than i needed to know about hcg during the duration of pregnancy.)

fwiw, i got some digital ones, and they were actually *less* effective than the ones like you had.

A line is a line! I'm sure it'll be darker in a couple of days. That's why they make HPT multi packs!

So, this is my job... reading pregnancy tests. Literally, it's what I do all day. And yup. That there is a second line. I'd give a positive every time if I saw a line like that. I've even had positives so faint that only half a line showed up! Positive is positive. You've got some HCG working in there, mama.
