What about seed spices and phytates?

I use seed spices almost daily, mustard seed, cumin, coriander, fennel etc. Are these things supposed to be soaked and dehydrated and stored that way for use? Am I thinking too much about this? But I use these seed spices almost daily..............

Rosewater,

You could soak them but it seems like a bit much effort. They won't bind to more than the minerals they contain themselves (and probably less), so it's not like they are messing up the food they are seasoning

Ah, thank you! Every time I learn something new, I get a little confused. I forgot that they only rob you of the minerals in the seed/grain itself. Thanks so much!
