Would this glass jar work for making kombucha in?

I have not yet had a chance to make my own, but having this on my counter would inspire me

It would probably work fine, although ideally it would have a wider mouth in relation to the width of the container (for more air circulation).

I would agree...the mouth of the vessel looks too narrow to me. I actually found a half-gallon and gallon jar at Target for only around $10 that works really well.

Search around here for kombucha brewing vessel b/c I know a few months ago there was a pretty good thread talking about all the things people use.

yep.... mouth is small, but goodness, i love the tap!!
