bloody show and labor starting?

lost my mucous plug earlier tonight and had definite "bloody show." Never had this happen before birth before.

How long after you had this symptom -- if you did -- did you begin labor?

This means something different for everyone. With this pregnancy I lost 3 plugs, one at 40, 41, and 42 weeks. I had bloody show the last 2 times. When I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show at 42 weeks I was in labor via induction. There is no telling what it means for you in this pregnancy.

this was my first time losing my plug and having bloody show on my own...so exciting! lost my plug a week prior and started bloody show 2 days before he was born

First time I lost my plug 3 days or so before labor, this time I'd been having contractions for a few hours before my mucus plug left the building. My water broke 3 hrs later and dd2 arrived about 9hrs after that.
