For those who have used these during the end stage of pregnancy, what regimen did you use? How much and how often (I have tablets/capsules from food co-op rather than tinctures)? ANy results?

cohosh and evening primrose oil?

I'm not using cohosh, but my mw has me taking 1gm of evening primrose a day, which equals one capsule a day with the stuff I'm taking: Source Natural 1350mg. I think you could take more, though, and it wouldn't hurt. The "suggested use" says 1-4 capsules a day or as recommended.

hi
cohosh causes contractions, so expect a bunch of ctx that bug you and don't lead to anything (unless you happen to take it at just the right moment) i've used it for both pregnancies but don't think it really did anything but get my hopes up either time. both times i went into labour when i hadn't had any in a couple of days.
i didn't worry about dosages and just took it whenever i felt like it.
i think the epo was far more effective, i put one capsule up near my cervix each night on my way to bed. i never took it orally, but it's chok full of good stuff so at the very worst you'd get extra fatty acids or whatever.
good luck!

I'm currently taking 2000mg of EPO right now. I guess I won't know how well it worked until after I have my baby. I'm staying away from the cohoshes for now.

I take 500 mg of EPO orally in the morning and and another 500 mg at night vaginally. I've been taking Dr. Christopher's prenatal formula for 3 weeks now and it contains black cohosh, pennyroyal, squawvine and false unicorn. I take it according to package directions. All of this was prescribed by my MW.
