Thanks. He has Hypospadias. He has had 2 surgeries now and it looks like a 3rd will be needed. It seems like very surgery makes it worse. Now instead of having one hole to pee out of he has 2. I hope the 3rd surgery is the charm that fixes it all.

You need to be bd every day!!!

Im sorry for your son! I hope everything get resolved, thats such a horrible area to have trouble with.

Yea, actually we have been BDing, I forget to mark it. I already marked BD tonight now...DH has no choise!

Does anyone have a crystal ball I can borrow?

First off, congrats on the BFP MissAnn! I hope it sticks for all it's worth this time!!

I'm still waiting to O, but now all the obstacles have presented themselves and I am left to work them out

1. DH finally got his aug schedule and so far only has off tues/wed for the entire month. With him in CA and me in FL, it's going to be awful tight trying to get him home to bd at the right time. I predict I'll O sometime wed-fri next week, so IF we can get him home, it might work out. I feel kinda bad making him fly all the way out here and back just to bd though. I can't take time off work to go meet him 1/2 way because I already had to take 2 sick days off work because I ...

2. Came down with some mystery virus illness since last Sat. (can I pass off 99.6 as a normal waking temp?). I seem to be on the mend now, but I can't tell how this might affect my O. I looked back at 10 cycles worth of charting and my conclusion is- it might, it might not It looks like I tend to delay more often b/c of stress than illness, but then again, I haven't had a fever like this to deal with before... So if it pushes me back to a sunday O day, I've got nothing. The one month we conceived, my O date was a week late AND we were using withdrawl 3 days before O. How hard can it be now that we are actively trying?

So can somebody look into their crystal ball and tell me when I'm going to O and make it a favorable date? Thanks! I'm : this will work out for us.

Anyway, hopefully our "O" dates will still be easy to pinpoint. Like I said, we are all looking towards Springtime Babies! So just keep thinking about those May-Days!!!!!!
I am inclined to believe so.

: for all and for the BFP desilou

Folaboye... Welcome to the May-Time Mommies Group!

MamaMerle... Lokks like you're doing a great job as Threadkeeper!!!!

DesiLou... Hmm, it sounds like you and your hubby just needed some new scenery to keep your minds less focused. I'm glad it worked!!!

SweetIrishCT... How long is your cycle? Can you guess when your "O" should be? It may help you (mentally), to know whether you already did it or not.
I think the BD every other day will work too!

CNutty... Hiya, don't forget our theme song... (You made it up, afterall) Waiting To O, Waiting To O...

KooksMom... Hello! I had phantom symptoms all last cycle... Mine were so real, I think I had a Chemical Pregnancy. I had spotting, cramping, frequent urination, backaches, mood swings, vivid dreams and a few other things.
I hope your phantom symptoms solidify into a bouncing bundle of joy!!!

MissAnnThrope... Well, that settles it, temping CAN work!!!!!!
Now, grab that hubby and do the Baby dance in celebration!!!!! WoooHooooo!!!!!!!!!!
I hope your DSs operation goes well and doesn't cause him too much discomfort.

EastBayK... Wow.... All I can suggest is BD when you can, arrange his trip home like you planned and keep hoping "O" will arrive when you want it to. How much has stress moved your "O" day? by one day or a week? I can't imagine a fever moving any more than stress. Since (I think) stress can effect your hormones, I don't know that fevers do that.
If it helps, I hope you "O" on Thursday, early in the AM, so you and DH can get in some BDing on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Gr8tfulMomma... Seeing my temps now, (I didn't start temping till after "O" last cycle) it looks like they were pretty high last cycle... Anyway, knowing that my donor CAN fertilize and knowing that my eggs CAN be fertilized, makes me feel more hopeful. It also makes me feel that my tubes can't be blocked, since the sperm are making it through! lol
I hope my thoughts help you too.
Think Spring!!!!

AAM... My AF is lightening up, it usually lasts 3-4 days, so this is normal. The weather here is WET!!! So, I'm going to try to get some yard work done.
For all of you Maytime Mommies To Be.... Picture those precious eyes opening for the first time to look at your sunny smile, at the same time all of the flowers open their petals to the sun!

is thewait over with yet? lol ff says to test on monday so..i test on monday assuming af hasnt come by then...
Can I please be moved to "Waiting to be ready" because we no longer have a donor.
CounterGOPI... I recommend waiting to test until after your AF is due. Testing early is too emotional!!!! So, Monday! Monday! Monday! Who ever thunk you'd be lookin forward to a Monday??? LOL

Simplelah... I'm really sorry to hear about your donor. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to find another one.
I do have one odd idea... I saw a show once about a man who liked to donate his sperm to the sperm banks. I think I read that there are other men willing to do the same, only fresh.
Maybe run an ad on Craigs List? It's free. It will cost you a little, because you'll want him to have a STD test and do the "hand off" at a hotel. This way you could ask for early twenty year olds, they are more likely to have good sperm count, motility etc... I know it sounds annoying and strange, but, I'm thinking off the top of my head.
You could also try putting the word out at a local gay bar, gay men are likely to have recent tests and are more open minded about donating sperm.
Luckily my donor is sticking with his agreement, but he is a very long time friend.
I hope you find another soon.

what the hay...go ahead and move me to BFP....
Congratulations to desilou and MissAnnThrope!

I will O soon but we haven't BDed since CD9. I am not sure about having another right now. We are just starting to get things together after dh being incapacitated for so long, and having another would really slow me down.

I think you should take me off the list.
Galatea- I hope things get better soon for your family and the get back on track.

Today I'm ready to be moved to BFP Today's line is twice as dark as yesterday's line, and I'm feeling sick. But my temp has been the same for the past 3 days... kinda odd. Who knows.

Good luck to the rest of you!
Folaboye... I didn't mean "welcome" like you were new, I meant welcome to the group of us hoping, trying for babies that will be due in May 08.

CounterGOPI... Good! Monday is gonna be your day!!!

DesiLou... Hello!

Galatea... I hope your real life calms into an easy routine.

MissAnnThrope... Hiya!

AAM... My Emphysema is acting up, so I've actually been pretty ill since yesterday... So, nothing new, just hoping the Emphysema spike is from this weather and not from dropping some supplements I had been taking.
I don't know how I missed it MissAnnThorpe but Congrats on the BFP!!!!!
OK, can someone please look at my chart... I have been trying to temp, but even being on night shift, I have been taking a temp if I can get even 3hrs of sleep, so from what I have read, it should be a reliable temp, right? BUT, the chart has about as many solid dots as empty, which I know the empty dots are questionable temps as far as the program is concerned. What is going on? I think it only gave a green light today b/c of the EWCM, not b/c of the temps...
grrr... this is annoying...
worried..

hi all...still getting slightly darker (but not dark) bfps (answer, frer, dollar store) but got a bfn on accu-clear which is what i used exclusively the first time i was pregs. i'm crampy today - af due tomorrow. i don't remember being so crampy the last time...i feel really worried.
Gr8tful Momma... I hope you had a fun day!

SweetIrishCT... Your chart doesn't like that you're temping at different times. I have trouble temping at the same time every day because I've been waking at different times early in the morning. I temp as soon as I awaken, even though I'm not getting up yet. But, I wake up at all different times, so, the chart decided my temps were unreliable. I think you might want to ignore that the dots are empty and just look at the temps.
I'm nowhere close to an expert, in fact the charting is still really new for me, so I hope this was helpful.

DesiLou... Ummm, how many + tests did you take? If you took 4+ and 1-.... I think you can go with the +s.... Of course the best answer is to get a blood test where they check the amount of HSG.
Try not to worry, stress is a no no..... (I know that is easier said than done)

AAM... I'm feeling a bit better tonight. I even did some work in the yard for about 45 minutes just before dark. I hope I'm back to normal tomorrow, I have tons of half finished projects that I really have to get to.

Now, let me tell ya' all about the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees and a time called SPRING!!!!!!!! Think reproduction! Think Mother Nature!! Think Fertile!!!! Think SPRING!!!!!!

Maytime Mommies To Be!!! Yipppeeeeee!!!!!!!
