I finally found a raw milk source!!

I haven't posted here in a while, because honestly I have been ashamed of my eating habits but I finally found a source of raw milk and am so thrilled I had to share

I live in Canada where raw milk is totally illegal, and I had been looking around and asking, but could't find any real milk that wasn't a couple hour's drive... until yesterday! I asked the people we get organic meat from if they knew of a local source and they DID! The people who sell it are from quite far out of town but they are in town weekly so I can get my milk And its cheaper than grocery store organic milk!

That's wonderful! I am always so impressed when people take serious risks to provide others with wholesome food. I would be so scared to sell raw milk in Canada after hearing of the persecution of those who get caught.

I also recently found a raw milk source. It's raw goat milk (at $14/gallon: ) which is extremely hard to find in the Bay area of California (at least it has been for me). These great guys are transporting it down to the area from up north, and then distributing it from a truck as "pet food".

Good for you!! I am HOPING I can track some down once I move to Toronto. There must be people there who get it somehow...

Congrats! It's amazing how if you keep asking around, you'll eventually find a source. I found a very safe source in Nairobi, Kenya, of all places -- the only problem was we were leaving in a month when I found it. : I still bought it for that month, and it was fantastic. I'm now searching in Nigeria ... no luck so far though.

My friend's grandparents have a source and they have to go at night and stuff.

A Durham farm just got in trouble for selling raw milk. They have a loophole where they would sell tiny shares of the farm to people who wanted to buy the milk because it isn't illegal if it is your farm.

It's so ridiculous. People should be able to buy raw milk if they want.
