Convection oven/toaster oven - need advice!

We recently moved and decided to retire the microwave entirely. I read in The Garden of Eating that a small convection oven is a good option for things like reheating, cooking small meals, etc. I can only seem to find ones that have nonstick interiors though. I bought one today (half price!) that has nonstick walls but a steel rack and broiler pan. Thoughts? I know that nonstick is a no no, but am wondering if there are any other options? Here is the one I got . . . http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...=1185757823107

I can certainly return this one if necessary . Any advice would be appreciated!

NOt all convection ovens have a nonstick interior, which I would not use because it is the fumes that are really bad and are released at temps above 275 or so. The Delonghi convection oven at Williams-Sonoma does not have a nonstick interior, and is a GREAT oven. I have used it many times and highly reccomend it.

we have a combo microwave/convection oven (GE) and while we dont' use the microwave at all anymore, i am finding the small oven to be very useful. i recently realized it is just big enough to fit my cookie sheets in. it cooks fairly evenly. it isn't non-stick inside. i wouldn't use a non-stick oven.

We have a Europro convection toaster oven, and it does not say that it has nonstick, but it does have a self-cleaning coating. I do not know how they differ. Now I am concerned- I thought it had an enamel coating similar to our oven... never thought about it, hmmm.

I looked further into this and it does not have nonstick http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1097579305612, but I still am not sure what the self-cleaning coating is.

Thanks all! Just as I suspected, but thanks for the confirmation. I am in a small city in SK so I find it difficult to find a good array of products. I guess I'll have to just keep hunting for a non no-stick convection oven. We dont' have a Williams - Sonoma
