Anyway to save this lipstick?

I hate having to paint on lipstick when I wear it and only use tubes but dd just got her hands on my favorite lipstick and ruined it. Half of its in the cap and the other half is crammed down into the tube. This was brand new! Is there any way to get it back into tube shape? Or am I stuck using q-tips or lipstick brushes?

Supposedly you can freeze it and get it back in shape. But only if you can get the stuff that is crammed in the cap out! Good luck!!

You can transfer into a travel size lip balm container (or reuse an old Balmex container) and perhaps scoop out all the lipstick and put it in there. Perhaps using warm water to soften the makeup would help get it into the container better. You can also do this to mix some lipsticks that you're not thrilled about into a customized shade you love. Add some vaseline, bees wax or your favorite lip balm/waxy thing to make a lip gloss.
