What do those of you who are TV free do to relax? I am not much of a reader and looking for other ways to chill out in the evening.

Do you do any crafts? How about learning to knit or crochet, sew or scrapbooking?

I am trying to think up something. The hardest part is that I think I need to create an area for it so I dont have to spend all of my downtime "getting set up." I am trying to set up a sewing table where I can close the bedroom door and close it from the monkeys.

I took up the fiddle last year and have to drag myself away from it to get a decent nights sleep!!:

Maybe you could play cards? We have some fun card games that are easy for one or two people to play. Do you like word games? I have one called bannanagrams, that you can play alone too. My girlfriend has a serious soduku problem, but I don't like numbers.

I also just took up crocheting again after like 15 years. It's fast & easy & fun - plus you can make christmas presents! I'm 1/3 of the way through scarf #2 in just two weeks!

I do read but when I'm not-MDC, sudoku, cross-stitch. I love to sew but that's more on and off because I have the same issues with getting set up.

I dink around on the computer, watch a DVD or read a book.

I am trying to learn to tat BUT I cant do it when kids are always coming to me for this or that.

I see a pattern for a pansy rug that I would love to make. I will have to see how much concentration that takes.
