Knit patterns for doll clothes?

I'm trying to decide between making a Waldorf doll or buying one. I want a button baby type, so I'm probably nuts to even think I could make one (new to dollmaking, beginner sewer)! So until I make up my mind, I'd like to start making some clothes for it.

I'd like to knit something like this. http://www.novanatural.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1612/.f
I've never knit a sweater or pants before, or I would try to make up my own pattern. Plus not actually having a doll to measure would make it even harder. Does anyone know of links to some free patterns? I'm not having any luck searching. Thanks for any tips!

This is a preemie pattern but with my tight knitting it fitted a doll of about 15 inches. http://www.bbc.co.uk/stoke/my_pages/.../hkp/026.shtml

I'm part way through this one

There are a few more patterns here
