Anyone else struggling with Candida?

Is there a forum for us here? How do you feel about TF with regards to this insidious yeast? According to Gabriel Cousens, whose book I revisited last night, animal foods are rife with pleomorphic organisms which I guess contribute to acidic blood with fungus in it.: Now I did eat raw for awhile which is why I have his book, but I found TF and started doing a sort of combo of the two diets. I think what Cousens was getting at is that grain-fed cows and chickens transfer the fungus from those stored grains to us via their meat, milk and eggs. I think grass-fed and free range must be a whole different story, and that is all I eat.

This is probably for a different thread but, raw milk was giving me terrible bloating. For example, I'd drink it in the a.m. and in the early evening I'd have unbelievable bloating and painful indigestion. I was wondering if the milk wasn't feeding the candida. I have it pretty bad, and have for years. So now I am so frustrated with the candida that I am leaning towards raw again, but dh won't like that too much, lol. I will probably do cooked non-stored grains like quinoa, buckwheat and millet and keep on eating grass-fed meats and really seek out truly free-range chickens with non-grain feed (that will be difficult).

Is anyone else out there battling this beast too and do how do you work it around this diet? Do you ever worry about getting too much protein or losing too much weight? I am already underweight and now that I have quit the raw milk seeing as how the bloating wasn't die-off reaction, I will have to try even harder to keep my weight up. I wish eating didn't require so much thinking, lol.

Have you tried raw goat milk? Some people who can't tolerate raw cow dairy can tolerate raw goat. I would try raw goat yogurt first since the beneficial bacteria would help.

Have you tried removing gluten from the diet. Gluten is inflammatory.

Increasing lacto fermented foods helps the gut.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find some raw goat milk yogurt. Raw milk is illegal in Idaho so I doubt I will be able to. I am part of a cow share program which is how I got the raw cow's milk. I am gluten-free as far as I know. Do you know if Ezekial sprouted grain tortillas are gluten -free? I've also been eating Rejuvenative Foods raw sauerkraut every day.

Somebody makes a sprouted corn tortilla that is wheat free (not sure about GF)...otherwise I've never seen a sprouted grain product that doesn't contain wheat.

Have you tried candida diets and anti-fungals? If you have and they haven't worked, then IMO it's likely that you're dealing with something other than candida. Food chemical intolerances, for one thing, can mimic "candida" symptoms--I finally figured out that my brain fog and blood sugar issues were due to amine sensitivity (naturally occurring food chemical found in aged meats and cheese, fermented foods, tomatoes, avocados, banananas, and chocolate, among other things) and not candida. My DD also had several issues that were said to be candida symptoms by several people, but diet and anti-fungals didn't help her a bit, but a diet low in amines cleared the symptoms right up (she's sensitive to amines, too).

Food for Life makes the sprouted organic corn tortillas and they are gluten free. I just got some yesterday and they are good! This is the only sprouted product I've seen so far gluten free and rice free.
