Illaria, may your stay here be short and sweet!!

What part of Tn are you in?
Thanks, Kiya.

I'm in East Tennessee, fairly new to the area -- about a year now.

Ah, I was hoping you were on this side! Ah, well.....

Welcome to Tn and to MDC, then! How are you liking both thus far?
I am liking Tn pretty well so far, and starting to find like-minded friends here and there. I am loving MDC, so much support and lovely people -- can't believe I didn't find it sooner!!

Bfp!!!

Hey girls,

I haven't posted all that much here, but have been a dedicated lurker and enjoyed the support this forum provides. After 8 cycles and 10 months trying, this morning I finally got my BFP!!!!!!!

Good luck to everyone here and all around!

Lacy, That is wonderful!!! Wishing you all the best

Had my HSG yesterday (ouch ouch and more ouch!). So this month we are TTC on our own. I have heard that you are really fertile for at least 3 months after an HSG. I had one in 2003 and got pregnant but lost the baby. I am pretty sure one has nothing to do with the other. So here we go ladies!! TTC naturally for August!! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!! Maybe I can finally be added to the graduate list!! That would be sooooo awesome! :

Oh!! and HUGE congrats to all the graduates!!!

Michelle - I LOVE the chickens. They sound like really nice pets which I would not expect... fresh eggs would be really cool! All hail the Chicken Master Michelle!!

GISDiva - sorry for the BFN but it was too early I'm sure! Glad you're not down about it. Will you test again? Have a great time in NM!!

Illaria! I'm the "threadkeeper" this month so I'll add you to our first page - list of members. How long have you been TTC? Good luck to you! You'll love it here - the ladies are awesome! And you can talk to us about ANYTHING - nothing is TMI...

: :Congratulations Lacy!!! : : I'll move you to the Graduates list!!

Stephanie - I too had an HSG recently. I sure hope it works for us both!!! Mine was pretty uncomfortable too - the tube/balloon came out of my cervix and they had to shove it back in again. Then I spotted for about 2 days... Ouch!! Best of luck to you the next few months! I'd love to move you to the graduates list!

pinkorchid2 - I love the belly shots! How did you get to 7 weeks already?! Wow, how time flies. If you're so inclined, we love to hear from grads and I'd love to keep watching your belly grow!! :-)

Well, even though I had the HSG so close to O and I feel just like I do every other month... I'm still a little hopeful this month. Actually, I HAVE had two really ugly zits that I'm hoping could be some kind of sign. But... I'm not counting on it. So... I'm not going to test until I'm late (as usual). That will be next Thursday - still a long time to wait!!! My distractions will be that I'm VERY busy at work Mon and Tue and my 14 year old nephew is coming to visit for a week, arriving Tues night! So that will be fun. :-)

Thanks Illaria - I'll update your post.

Just had to post a message (unrelated)... I tried my new Diva Cup today (not on my period yet but wanted to practice). I got it in and out and I think I did it right! I heard the suction break when I removed it! :-) Yee hee!

Now, hopefully, I won't need it next week!

Illaria! (saw you started an acupunc./ttc thread--many of us are doing that in this group, more on that later!)

BF CONGRATULATIONS TO LACY!:
MAY YOU HAVE A HH9 MONTHS!

Go threadkeeper diva girl! You're doing a great job!

: for you Michelle and whatever the result, remember this is an early test.

Good Luck Princess! May the next few tries be fruitful for you!

Rain~How ya doin, my cycle buddy? Getting through the wait okay? Any symptoms? The only thing I've noticed is that I do not have sore bbs, bigger, but not sore and they are always sore post-o and i'm 99% sure i o'd. ???

I realized that I am having a pap smear on 11dpo. Is that going to be a problem, if I"m +? I don't usually test early, but I think I'll test that morning. If she tells me I'm neg. that will be the worst PS ever!

Welcome to the new gals - and big congrats to Lacy! This has been a lucky month so far!

Jen - It's too bad I know what a diva cup is...because I actually pictured you holding a gold cup - like a diva princess. I hope you won't need it for about 9 months or so...

Poet - I'm doing fine. A little crampy again this month, and I'm not sure what that is about. I happened last month too. My acupuncturist seems confident that this is the month for me....but I'm not really listening too closely. Just focusing on all the things I have to get done now that I'm back at work. You have a very interesting symptom!

Some women caution against getting a PS in early pregnancy...and others get one at their first OBGYN appt. I would definitely let your OB know that you might be expecting.

Michelle - Lovely chart! Good luck manana.

We've been not really ttc/tta for the last couple of months, so I've only been lurking. I start law school on 8/20, so we figured we would take a little break so if I do get pregnant, I'd at least be able to make it through the entire first year. I'm 3 dpo today, but our timing doesn't look particularly good. This would be a perfect cycle to get a bfp though. According to FF, my EDD would be 4/24/2008, which is a couple of weeks after finals are over in the spring.

Anyway, I'm back with actively charting and ttc, and I'm glad to see you all again

Not to be impatient, Michelle, but tick tock. Aren't you supposed to be peeing on something right now?

We must've posted at the same time! Welcome greenegirl and a belated welcome to Ilaria, as well!

Sorry...posted this in July thread before I saw there was an August one... glad to be here!

Congratulations Mandy!

I am not sure what my status is at this point...last month we were trying...this month DH is having a crisis about work...thinks he wants to start all over in another field...so we have put ttc on hold while we discuss...soooo hard to stop trying-I'd been so excited and so invested in it. But I did realize over the last week or so that I had been a bit disconnected from my work, and was usually distracted with thinking all the time about getting and being pregnant. So who knows, maybe this is a good reminder to not get obsessive, and that there are other important things in my life. I don't know. I really want to keep trying, but I don't want to push DH. Anyone out there have a similiar experience? We have so me time, but not tons...I am 31 and DH is 37.

Good Rainful Morning from WV! We need rain, lots of rain, so I am doing the continuation dance. Not much going on, still out of town. I haven't temped this weekend since I have been gone because it usually doesn't matter much anyways because I wake up throughout and extra early. I am happy to say that it appears, from my chart, that I am now on 11 DPO!!! So no short luteal phase. My temps seem low though and touched the coverline twice during my DPO. Does that mean low progesterone (which was what I had always thought because of my previous M/C's)? Can someone take a peek at my chart and see - PLEASE! Still kinda new to all this charting business. On a personal note:

Amiee - I posted a response to your post on the July thread.

Michelle - Ahhhhh, the suspense.. my individual hairs on my head paired up, crossed and are rooting for ya! Also, O'Keeffe - LOVE HER!!! I also have some Ansal Adams photo prints in my house. I was hoping to see an exhibit when I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY but I survived with a Picasso exhibit.

Greenegirl and Illaria - WELCOME and back! May your stays be filled with knowledge, experience and a BFP!!!

Jen - thanks for being the threadkeeper this month!!!

Anouk - CONGRATS!!!:

Poetgirl - I don't know think it was an issue, but I was TTC and on a 2WW when I was scheduled for my annual. I asked her about it and she said it was OK. I even looked in my pregnancy for dummies book and online. Everything I saw said it was OK. I was preggo and ended up with a M/C a week later but again, don't think it was directly tied to it since I have had 2 others.

Ryan's Princess - Good Luck TTC after HSG!!!

pinkorchid2 - keep 'em coming! We are all so very happy for you!!! Thanks for allowing us to share in this part of your life.

Hi ladies,

First of all congrats to the new BFPs on the board. After 13 months of trying, TCM, massage, chiropractic, and all sorts of other stuff, I'm still not pregnant. I'm going to hang this up for a while so I can have a life. So I'm pretty much leaving the board for a long time while DH and I move and settle into our new home. The bright side is that DH did get a nice job in Portland, ME and we'll be moving there in 2 weeks. I'm doing well, I just need some serious counseling and I'm taking flower essences to keep myself from going over the edge emotionally. I had a really bad meltdown on Friday and I think that is a sign for me to simply let it go for now and enjoy my husband. It's been great being here and I really appreciate the care and support you've all given me. This isn't at all what I thought it would be and I sincerely hope that the newbies have short and sweet stays and the long time ttc'ers get their BFPs soon. I won't be really on the ttc boards much if at all. You may find me in Yarn Crafts or Natural body care, but for now I'm just going to let things lie. I am going to continue with TCM because I feel healthier for it, and I'm going to do some fertility hypnosis as well so I can simply relax and know that I'm normal and that it will happen; just not now. So this is my goodbye for now from the world of ttc'ing. I've stopped charting completely so there won't be anything to see or reference for me. All the best of luck to you in your journey.

xoxo,

Kemi
