Above is the mill that I have. I have tried using it 2 times. It didn't even come close to making a flour-like texture. It seemed like the grinding stone was grinding into the finsihed product. Dh assembled it for me because I just couldn't figure it out. I'd really like to use this. It was purchased from Lehman's over a year ago & the brand is "Porkert". Anyone have this & can help? TIA

Nobody has this mill?

I don't have that one, but I do have one similar and it takes SEVERAL times through to get good flour. needless to say, I don't. we have a borrowed Whisper Mill presently but hope to get a GOOD quality hand/electric some day (such as Country Living). The other one we use for cracking grains (cereal) and rolling them. (it's a Marga Mulino from Lehmans)

Thanks for the reply! I was afraid of that!!! But the description made it sound like it is the only one in it's price class that will grind very fine! I'm discouraged!

I have the nutrimill and it produces VERY fine flour, like almost finer then buying it. But it does not do cracked/cereal grains! I have an attachment for my kitchenaide mixer that does very coarse cereal grain but OMG it just can't be good for your ears. I almost cried when I turned it on
