SIGGS- Dishwasher safe or NO?

So, I have SIGGS and I'm confused if they can be washed in the dishwasher or not. Some web sites say YES, others say NO.

So, what one is it??

I wouldn't.

We only use water in them, and so we really just give them a rinse at the end of the day (except for the kids' ones... they have peanut butter, etc, smeared all over the outside - still, we rinse the inside, and wash the outside with regular dish soap.)

I remember reading on the little sticker on the bottom that they are not dishwasher safe. They cannot guarantee the inside water-based coating if you do.

I think they are not dishwasher safe because the paint on the outside will crack and chip. It says it on the info that came with it.

No. I knew someone who put hers in the dishwasher and all the paint on the outside chipped off.
