WOW! To me, that is an impresive endorsement..............

Statement from Granny D

Quote:
When I walked 3,200 miles across the United States for campaign reform and inquired of people why they were not voting, they said: 'Find us someone who understands us, who cares about us.' I'm talking about people living in trailers, people living in small towns with boarded-up windows on Main Street, with drugstores, grocery stores, hardware stores all eaten up by Wal-Mart, Costco, CVS Drugs, Home Depot, and other monsters several miles beyond the town. People coming out of farmhouses in Iowa, squeezed out of their livelihood by stinking agri-hog farms, people coming out of tobacco fields, cotton fields, wheat fields, people living in cities who have been out of work for over a year, people whose well-paid jobs have been shipped overseas, people desperate for relief from the oppressions of our corporatized and disempowered lives.

I still can't believe I may actually feel a tingle of excitement for a democrat..................

Read what his website says abt the Cleveland Public Power incident and abt his turn on the issue of Reproductive Rights

Woo Hoo Go Dennis...

I'm really happy to see this.

Ya know, DK was himself homeless, and I think he will definately advocate for the poor no matter his position in Govt. And, the guys got heart that's for sure.

El's thanks for the info. If he runs against shrub, he's got my vote!

Now if only Nader will follow Granny D's lead

Thanks El! For the first time in a long time I'm excited about a Democrat. I'm crossing my fingers that the public will ignore the media this time around and vote (in the primaries) for the person they WANT-instead of voting for who they think can win. Remember how the media told us that Wellstone and Ventura couldn't win? What in the hell does the corporate-owned media know anyway?
Kucinich alone can bring Democrats, Greens, Independents, Socialists and non-voters together.

Support Democratic diversity, support a peace initiative and support a progressive agenda. Try it. It doesn't preclude you from supporting other candidates, but if you simply support who you think will "win," you can't complain when they don't represent your interests.

Ralph Nader, who also appeals to economic populists, has spoken publicly about his support for Kucinich, saying the race needs a progressive candidate. Nader was the Green Party's presidential candidate in 2000.
