I was prepared for DD's birth...and went through the whole process with relative ease. Sort of like how you described singing the baby into the world. You were relaxed and had controlled breathing. That's what I did.
I'm afraid that my second hospital experience will not be as charming or that I'll get a different dr that'll cause a polar opposite experience. Also, I was only at the hospital for four hours, and even then I didn't choose to go there but DH chose for me. I intend to wait longer this time and I wouldn't want to have UC.
I'm leaning towards HB that's for sure and I believe DH is as well. I've scheduled an appt with the OB that supports (and backs up) HB to fully discuss my case. If he feels comfortable and says I'm as low risk as I think I am, we'll likely go with it.
