Has anyone ever experienced this? I'm STILL pregnant (41w5d) and just getting my first belly stretch marks. Grr....(don't worry, my breasts are covered with them) In addition, around but mostly under my belly button, my skin is totally stretched to the point that it's really shiny and superficially painful.
I got acupuncture today to try to induce (it should take at least one more time. apparently, if you're not having strong ctxs yet, it takes more than one time--which is WONDERFULLY feeling, but expensive, of course) and the acupuncturist/midwife figures that my painful belly button may be a umbilical hernia. I wasn't able to find too much information about it. Eek....anyone had this? Would you describe it the same way? What did you do?
