kicking in my hoo-ha

OK, my last pregnancy.. I have no idea what was "normal", so pardon me asking this. This girl was kicking last night and I felt like she was going to kick the bottom out my hoo-ha. I am sorry but it is the only way I can describe it. Like, I thought her foot was going to come right out (or her hand, I guess, maybe, because she is head down). It didn't hurt but it kept startling me. Have any of you felt this kind of thing? Was she using my cervix as a punching bag? And what is it going to be like in a few more weeks? Am I going to need to get her a boxing trainer?

Seriously, has anyone felt this before? I guess maybe it is punches in the cervix... I don't have anterior placenta or placenta previa or anything. If that helps. Thanks!

Cervix punches, yes. I usually feel those before I feel any other movement. Guess my Hoo-ha is sensitive

I get the very low movement with every pregnancy and it started up within the last week. It's worse at three times: nighttime, after a lot of activity, and when I have to pee. I notice if I pee, I get a little reprieve. Even so, it's par for the course for me. BTW, "a lot of activity" really translates to keeping up with this household--kids and chores.

Keeps me on either CP-imposed or self-imposed light bedrest until 35 weeks.

Yes!! This babe esp seems to be hanging out down there...I had a dream the other night that he/she was trying to push a thumb through my cervix the other night.

Really makes me jump. I'm not sure I'll get use to cervical touches from the inside.

Yes, yes! Both girls are head down, so my cervix is getting lots of punches. Some nights, I can even feel baby A turning her head around down there.

Yep, I'm getting this too, except this little one is still breech, so I'm getting kicked down there. Sometimes it's a really weird sensation almost like the baby is kicking me in the bowels/butt area.
Isaac was breech to until about 35 weeks or so and I never felt this when I was pg with him, so who knows? I guess every pg is different!

I get the occasional punt to the cervix, which does feel like a swift kick to the hoo-ha... which I'm hoping means that the placenta is out of the way and I don't have to worry about previa anymore!

I had a U/S at 20 weeks and another one scheduled for August 14. : It's a complete previa with a prior C-section, so stats are not on my side... but I've decided that stats are a load-o-crap, so we'll just see what the next U/S says.

my "guy" is feet down and kicks my cervix HARD and it HURTS.. my other 2 were head down by now so I have not had this with other two.. I don't like it.. not to mention I am nervous for this kid to flip

I get that too - yesterday was a cervix-rific day of kicks/punches and downright dancing.

I get those all the time too
and not just in the cervix. . but where it feels like he is actually kicking the outside of my vaginal opening.

its one of those weird pregnancy things!

This week I have been getting those butt kicks too. The ones that feel like he's kicking your bottom somehow. I assume that s/he's gotten big enough and strong enough to really feel a direct hit.

This little nubbin is a shaker and a mover, so I have felt both the cervix punches and the same as Isaac'sMa with the bowel/butt area punches. Those are quite uncomfortable feeling to me.

PHEW! I am so glad to hear this. I call the doctor's office for one thing or another like once or twice a week, so if I can get "that is normal" here I feel better. It was freaking me out- I kept thinking I would reach down and there would be a little arm sticking out, waving...
