Natural Roach Spray?

Have seen 2 roaches in the last couple of weeks in my apartment and I think it is time to spray. Given we have a baby at home, what is a good natural (possibly DIY) spray that I can use around the house to ward off the roaches?

Thanks.

I have used borax in the past. Also, I was looking at an apartment complex recently, and when I asked about pest control spraying, they said they only did it if someone requested it, and even then you could choose to have them spray boric acid only (basically the same stuff as Borax) so maybe you could have that done or find it at Home Depot or something.

Is your baby crawling already? Maybe you can limit your spraying (or sprinkling of Borax) to inside cupboards like under the sinks, assuming that you have safety latches. Roaches are attracted to the water source any way.

You may want to look into glue traps. I haven't tried them though.

I'm sure others probably have some better suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions - unfortunately I am not in the US and they dont sell boric acid where I am. Is there any type of EO that I could use to keep roaches away? I was thinking I could put some EO in a bottle with some water and give the walls and doorways a good spray.

My LO is crawling and putting everything in the mouth so I am looking for some safe alternatives.

Thanks again.

Diatomaceous earth works really, really well to control roaches. It's a fine powder, and it cuts up their exoskeletons, so they dehydrate and die. They also carry some of it back into the walls with them, so it kills others. It worked super well for me when I lived in scarily roach infested apartment. You should be able to get it at a garden store if it's not available in a grocery store.

Just sprinkle it around as you would boric acid. Put it around the bases of he toilets, under the sinks, along the edge in cupboard where you've seen roaches, under the stove, etc.

It's safe for humans. Just don't breathe the dust when you're applying it. Once it's down it's not dusty at all.
