Right???? I just found out my favorite band is playing in my city on Oct. 6. I'll be about 34 weeks. They only come here every couple years, and I am really determined to go. There's no big major reason I'm not thinking of to NOT go, right? I probably won't be comfortable standing for a whole show at that point, but I've been to this venue before and you can almost always see, even when seated. There's a small chance I could be on bedrest, I'd figure out how to deal with that at the time based on how sick I was (history of pre-eclampsia). I don't want to wait to get tickets because they do tend to sell out.

Oh, and so that you can get a good laugh...it's Hanson. Yeah, MMMBop Hanson. Yes they're still around. No, they don't do bubblegum pop anymore.

I hope so because I have two shows to see late September/Mid October!

Yeah, I'd say it's fine though like you said you probably won't want to stand the whole time.

We just saw the Police last week and I sat for about half the show. When I was pg with Isaac we saw Wilco at 36 weeks.

Enjoy the show!

Yep- should be fine! I think they just recommend that you don't get too terribly close to the speakers! Have fun!

MmmmmmmmmmBop!

Does Hanson have a mosh pit? No? Then you should be fine.

Watch for ill placed elbows in the crowds and wear a diaper if you have to. Have fun!

MMMBop.

Mosh pit? Noooo, not exactly, but the dance floor in front the stage gets INSANE. I've been kicked, hit, and had my hair pulled, and this was all while 6'5" dh was playing bodyguard for me! Those Hanson fans are nutty!

I'll be staying OFF the dance floor this time!

OHH too funny. Hanson!! I always thought they looked like cute girls! (not anymore , I guess!)

Unless you are on bedrest or havign a health prob I don't see why going to a concert is a prob??

I went to 3 shows in a row at Red Rocks (a billion stairs/hills at that venue) 10 days before my DD was born.

Just stay hydrated and sit down as much as possible.

I took my dd to her first concert when she was 34 weeks in utero. We saw and she "heard" Metallica and Godsmack. We stayed as far away from the pit as possible (LOL - reserved seating for us). She came out just fine

I would miss Ben Harper for ALMOST nothing! Have my fingers double and triple crossed (is that even possible) that we will be able to get tickets for his LA show when the presale starts in 2 weeks. It's a drive, but more than worth it!

Hey I like that MMMBop song! LOL

I hope you have fun. I think it should be fine. Also you may want to walk around a bit and NOT sit the whole time so that you keep the circulation going in your legs okay.

I am soooo jealous! I LOVE Hanson! A girl I knew from college stalks them. (She's at every concert and every appearance) She has since high school lol.
But I don't like Mmmbop...I like their emo-ish music. lol

That's awesome. I got a meet and greet through the fan club last time they were here, they're really nice guys, fun to talk to. If you like the newer stuff, you HAVE to check out The Walk, just came out a couple weeks ago. Here's their website. Check out the tour dates, maybe they're coming somewher near you.

Oh, and this won't even be baby's first concert. We saw Billy Joel when I was around 14 weeks or so...bought the tickets for dh for Christmas before we even knew I was pregnant. I was just wondering about going later in the pregnancy because I was reading that the baby starts being able to hear sometime around 22 weeks or so.
