I am not actually not due til sept. 4, but I have a c-sec scheduled for Aug. 30 so that is why I am posting in this ddc. I'm trying to find out what my chances are of actually having this baby earlier that the 30th. If I go into labor on my own the doc will immediately do a c-sec then. My first baby was born at 37wks. 2 days but i didn't go into labor with her they took her by c-sec because of preclampsia. My second baby was born at 37wks exactly. I went into labor on my own with him. Is it likely that this babe will be born around 37 wks. Does anyone have any idea. I have had some contractions, but when the doc checked me today at my appointment he said that my cervix was not open at all yet. Instead of being dialated he told me I had a bladder infection and that I tested positive for group b strep. how exciting!!
